Research Highlights:
As a clinical pharmacist, my work focuses on key issues in orthopedics and neurology. For example, as part of the Fracture Liaison Service (FLS), we are investigating the impact of FLS on patient adherence to osteoporosis medications, as well as exploring the relationship between hip fractures, specific medications, and in-hospital complications. In the area of diabetic foot management, our research examines the association between polypharmacy, the use of different kinds of insulin and the risk of limb amputations and other complications.
