About the Program

The department is located in the pharmacy building, fostering interaction with diverse research groups aimed at improving drug treatments. Our Pharmacy Department has a history of success in the pharmaceutical world, with current researchers engaged in cutting-edge drug development technologies. 

 

Course Details

The curriculum is tailored by the student and advisor to fit the research topic, including courses like scientific writing and laboratory methods. Students also attend lectures on the department's research fields and other topics, providing broad exposure to pharmaceutical sciences.

Admission Requirements

  1. Admission Requirements for Students Who Have Completed Bachelor's Degree in Israel
  2. Graduates of a B.Sc.Pharm degree in pharmacy from the Hebrew University or Ben-Gurion University who have completed a grade of at least 80 will be accepted.
  3. The Committee for Graduate Studies will discuss the admission of holders of a "bachelor's" degree (B.Sc.) in natural sciences from Hebrew University or from an equivalent academic institution of higher education in Israel who have completed a grade of at least 80. If necessary, supplementary studies will be required.
  4. Students must meet English exemption requirements at the university level.
  5. Holders of a "bachelor's" degree in the natural sciences who do not meet the admission requirements listed above due to an insufficient graduate grade may apply for admission, and their case will be discussed by the Committee for Graduate Studies.
  6. A student who is required to complete completion as a condition for admission to the master's degree will be required to have a grade of at least 80 in the supplementary course unless the chairman of the Committee for Graduate Studies decides on a higher grade or a minimum grade for each course separately.
  7. To register for advanced studies, a student must secure a faculty member from the School of Pharmacy as a research supervisor. A secondary supervisor may be included with approval from the Committee for Graduate Studies chairman. A maximum of two instructors per student is allowed.
  8. Students can register for "master's" studies at the School of Pharmacy until the beginning of the school year. Studies will begin in the first or second semester.
  9. Admission Requirements for Students Who Have Completed Bachelor's Degree Studies Abroad
  10. Holders of a bachelor's degree in pharmacy or B.Sc. The natural sciences who have completed their studies abroad must produce a certificate from the Ministry of Admission of Overseas Students confirming that the university they studied at is accredited. Their grade point average is equivalent to the abovementioned requirements.
  11. After receiving the above approval, the Committee for Graduate Studies will consider their acceptance according to sections 3-6 of the admission requirements.
