Pharm.D – Doctor in Clinical Pharmacy
Course Breakdown
The program spans six semesters, with initial instruction at the patient's bedside and rotations in hospital departments led by clinical pharmacists or doctors. The first two years include a wide range of courses covering basic clinical pharmacy skills, advanced drug toxicology, clinical teratology, and more. The third year focuses on pharmaceutical therapy specialization. Students also conduct master' s-level research during their studies.
Admission Requirements
The program relies on the professional training provided as part of the bachelor's studies in pharmacy (a total of four years, three and a half years plus an internship of about six months), which provides basic studies in the natural sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, and biomedicine, and is therefore limited to those with a bachelor's degree in pharmacy. The admission threshold is 85 in the grade of the bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences, as well as in an admission interview.
