Program Highlights

Pharmacology integrates biology, chemistry, and medicine to study drug effects, focusing on targets, mechanisms, therapeutic and toxic effects, and drug development. Students take courses in pharmacology, molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, and cell biology. Research interests include cellular signaling, neuropharmacology, metabolism, pain, immunology, and cancer pharmacology. Graduates pursue careers in academia, the pharmaceutical industry, biotech companies, research institutes, and public service. The department, located in the pharmacy building, enjoys advanced facilities and proximity to related departments, and aims to discover drug mechanisms for new drug development.
