Research Highlights:
Benny laboratory is a multidisciplinary lab focuses on developing innovative anti-cancer therapies and nanotechnology-based drug delivery systems. The research also explores key processes in the tumor microenvironment and in order to design selective and personalized monotherapies to optimize drug efficacy while minimizing off-target effects. AI-based approaches use Nano informatics to provide tools for personalized drug delivery that can predict parameters for optimal therapies in cancer. The lab also pioneers advanced 3D ex vivo cell models for tumor-on-a-chip applications. Leveraging patient-derived samples and a flow device for precision medicine, this platform facilitates the study of anti-cancer drug activity and toxicity, advancing the development of personalized nanomedicine.
